Last Post

Sorry about completely failing to keep up with this blog. Time gets away from you... plus the internet worked less than half the time. If you missed hearing about my semester from my update emails sent home, you'll just have to ask me in person how it went! ;-)
This is the last week of the semester. We leave campus on Sat morning for our debrief session. It's really sad leaving this place that I've come to love and the people here whom I love and they love me. I will especially miss my Ugandan friends, Brendah and Florence.
Debrief will be in Entebbe. I'm not sure what we'll be doing. I know there a discussions planned so we can make a success closure to this semester and be better prepared to reenter the US. There's also some fun planned like going to Lake Victoria and the zoo. I will be on a plane to Amsterdam on Tues night at 11pm. I have a 6 hour layover, then a direct flight to Chicago. It'll be a long day and I am NOT looking forward to the jet lag.
Can't wait to get home and see my family and friends. Really don't want to leave my family and friends here. If only I could be in 2 places at once...
